Organized in partnership with Emporia Brands, the brand’s exclusive importer in the United Kingdom, the competition brought together five exceptional bartenders. After three high-level challenges, it was Ashley Haines, bartender at Noyau (Dorset, UK), who impressed the jury with his floral and musky liqueur made from sweet woodruff, aptly named Sweet Woodruff.
A Competition at the Highest Level
After a year of pre-selection in England, the finalists took on three demanding challenges under the watchful eye of expert mixologists. Ashley Haines' creation, inspired by the delicate white flowers of the undergrowth, stood out for its subtle balance and aromatic intensity.
In addition to a £1,000 prize, his liqueur will join the Gabriel Boudier range and be distributed internationally from autumn 2025—a major recognition for this passionate mixologist.
