Created by Vincent Mevrel, Head Bartender at the Club Bar in Dijon (@leclub.bar), Le Framheim is inspired by the feat of Roald Amundsen, the first man to reach the South Pole in 1911. Its name pays tribute to the Norwegian’s Antarctic base camp, the starting point of an expedition that made history.

Instructions

  • 1
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker without ice.
  • 2
Dry shake to emulsify the egg white.
  • 3
Add ice cubes and shake again to chill.
  • 4
Strain into a well-chilled coupe glass.
  • 5
Garnish with a dusting of powdered sugar or a lemon zest.

A dusting of powdered sugar on the foam creates a frosted effect, worthy of great expeditions.
